Haitiian U.S. Ambassador Speaks Locally

Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church of Nashville will host a press conference featuring Haitian ambassador to the United States, Raymond Alcide Joseph on Saturday, March 27, at 7 pm at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church of Nashville, 3411 Albion Street, Nashville, Tenn. 37209. Ambassador Joseph will also speak at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church of Nashville on Sunday, March 28, at the 10:45 am service. 

Raymond Joseph is known internationally as a Haitian diplomat, political activist, radio personality and journalist. He has been the Haitian ambassador to the United States since 1997. He is a graduate pastor from the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, holding a B. A. in anthropology from Wheaton College, Wheaton, Ill. He also has a Master’s degree in social anthropology/linguistics from the University of Chicago.

Ambassador Joseph will discuss challenges and opportunities relating to the relief efforts regarding the people of Haiti; examine the current social and political climate; and discuss the current efforts by various branches of government to provide assistance to Haiti. He will also share the vision, mandate and anticipated outcomes. Ambassador Joseph will be available to answer questions during the press conference.
